Tim Garry

Tim Garry joined Senator in December 2018. Prior to joining Senator, Mr. Garry was the Chief Investment Officer and Managing Member of Pelorus Jack Capital, a market neutral long/short hedge fund. Before that, he was at Passport Capital for over eight years, where he served as Co-Portfolio Manager of Passport Capital’s Long Short and Liquid Long Short Strategies for approximately five years. While at Passport, Mr. Garry also led the firm’s Portfolio Construction, Risk and Quantitative Strategies team, and spent several years as the firm’s Chief Risk Officer. He began his career at State Street Global Advisors, where he was a Senior Quantitative Portfolio Manager for the US Equity Market Neutral Strategy. Mr. Garry received an AB in Philosophy and English and an MS in Finance from Boston College. He is a CFA Charterholder.
